Video Blog: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome CFS - How the Clinic views Emotion

Welcome to this week's video blog. We are rather excited to be releasing the first of a new series of videos filmed with our new camera, and the beginnings of our new set at OHC HQ! This video is with Anna (Director of Psychology) and Alex, talking about the role of emotions in CFS, ME and Fibromyalgia. Anna and Alex discuss why emotions can be such a key part of recovery, the place of components from treatments such as Reverse Therapy and Mickel Therapy (along with their limitations), and also why psychotherapy can be a factor in recovery, but can also sometimes become a distraction from what is most important.[youtube cgjrBIkd6bk]For our second video of the week, we thought you may enjoy a recent interview Alex did for www.conscious.tv around Voice Dialogue. Although not strictly CFS or ME related, the interview is a fascinating insight into the different aspects of ourselves that can be impacting our experience.
We hope you enjoy, and please do comment on the videos with any questions or thoughts you may have!
