Nutrition

The majority of people we support using nutrition at the clinic have already tried a number of different nutrition approaches with little success. We have developed our reputation in this area (as we have as a clinic as a whole) through getting results where many less experienced practitioners have failed.

Our approach over the years has been to study everything that has been identified as successful, by incorporating some of the work of well-known researchers such as Dr Cheney, Dr B Puri, Dr S Myhill, Dr M Ali and Dr Teitelbaum, as well as developing our own protocols through our own systematic researching and testing of what works. Our aim is to provide the best and very latest non-medical approach that is available anywhere in the world for the patients we work with, and the wide range of issues with which they present.

One of the great benefits of working with the OHC nutrition team is that they have decades of experience between them, and so when you are consulting with one practitioner, they have the experience of the entire team to draw upon. The team are constantly attending new trainings and seminars and researching new nutrition protocols – their approach to their own skills as practitioners is: “constant and never ending improvement”.

Questions about the OHC nutrition department

What does the OHC nutrition department do?

The OHC nutrition team specialise in optimising and energising various body systems and are a clear example of how nutrition is a lot more than just “diet and food.” Your practitioner will research and investigate different imbalances, with a particular focus on sub-optimal functioning, drawing on the OHC’s vast amount of experience.

What kinds of testing do you use?

Many private lab tests are available to help us establish physical imbalances and support effective treatment where relevant. These are OPTIONAL and would be customised to the patient’s health and financial needs and could include one or more of the following tests, though the list is by no means exhaustive:

• Adrenal Stress Index Test
• Comprehensive Stool Analysis/Gastro-intestinal Function
• Vitamin & mineral status (blood test)
• NADH
• Red cell magnesium
• Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)
• Co-enzyme Q10
• Comprehensive stool analysis
• Glutathione studies
• Toxic organic chemical exposure
• Full Thyroid Panels
• Urine Iodine/Halides
• Hair Mineral Analysis
• Leaky Gut (Gut Permeability)
• Food & environmental Intolerances & Allergies
• Candida Antibody
• Kryptopyrroles/Pyroluria
• Heavy Metals
• Mycotoxins
• Essential Fatty Acid Profile

Is there any evidence that the OHC approach helps people?

Yes there is. Every case is different, and we very strongly believe in understanding each person as an individual. Initially, we relied on customer feedback and studying individual case studies (many of which you can read on the site). More recently, we have been conducting research studies on our approach, and are in the process of writing up a number of papers based upon our findings. Please see our Research Section for more information.  Please note that the OHC nutrition approach is not offered as treatment for ME, CFS and Fibromyalgia.  The focus of our approach is to optimise general health, energy and well-being.

I am not mobile, neither do I live in London. Are you still able to help me?

Yes – we have patients all over the world. We do either telephone or Skype consultations for people who have difficulty traveling or live outside of the UK.

What should I do next?

We encourage all prospective patients to request a Free Information Pack and to then book a Free Discovery Call
