Bouncing the boundaries in recovery from ME, CFS, and Fibromyalgia
Alex discusses reaching a point in our recovery when energy is coming back and we’re ready to do a little more activity. The process of finding our baseline without post-exertional-malaise (or PEM, or delayed fatigue response) is called bouncing the boundaries. Bouncing the boundaries, and pacing yourself gently, with movement and exercise may be most helpful in the later phases of stage 2 (tired and wired) and during stage 3 (reintegration).
