What?

Want ideas of what you can do? See our Fundraising ideas for each stage of recovery.

 Make it a challenge, but keep your health and recovery in mind.

Who?

Perhaps you’re flying solo or want your family and friends to take part, or you may even want to open it up to your local community?

Whoever you’re planning on being involved, also have a think about who can help you with the organization and running things on the day?

When?

Give yourself plenty of time to prepare and promote your event to get the most out of it.

Consider your audience and when would suit them (evenings, weekends, school holidays) to get the best turn out.

Where?

You may be doing something at home, but if you are planning something elsewhere, it may be worth checking,

→ Is it easily accessible?

→ Will there be a cost involved?

→ Are there time restrictions?

How? 

Make a to do list of what you will need to get you up and running, and use the planner in our Fundraising Pack to schedule what needs to be done by what date.

Recruit some helpers.

Promote your event through social media and using our Fundraising Pack which includes blank flyers & posters for you to put the details of your event on.

Ask your employer about matched giving, whether you’re raising money at work or not many employers will match the amount you raise which will double your total!
