The Optimum Health Clinic is owned and governed by registered charity The Optimum Health Clinic Foundation (number 1131664). 100% of profits from The Optimum Health Clinic are donated to the charity. The purpose of The Optimum Health Clinic Foundation is to fund research into integrative medicine, with a special focus on ME/CFS. Research papers have to date been published in peer reviewed journals such as British Medical Journal Open, Psychology and Health, and Medical Hypothesis. For more information on previous papers click here.
At the House of Lords, On 5th November 2013, The Optimum Health Clinic Foundation launched its plans for a randomised controlled trial on the OHC approach, hopefully to be conducted in an NHS hospital. The vision is that successful publication of this research will be a critical step towards securing government funding via the recent changes to the NHS.
